Mazoon Aluminum is an Omani brand in the field of developing aluminum and thermal break window and door systems. Our systems are the result of practical experience that began since its establishment in 2016, and has evolved into designing wholly owned systems since 2021, with a focus on quality, performance, and suitability for the Omani climate.
Mazoon Aluminum started from a field experience in implementing windows and doors in the Omani market, where we noticed a clear need for aluminum systems that are more suitable for the local environment and have the highest performance in thermal and sound insulation. From this need, the idea of developing systems that combine engineering performance, architectural beauty, and ease of manufacturing and installation was launched.
Since 2016, the company has gone through several stages of development, reaching the stage of independently designing Mazoon systems in 2021, including hinged and heat-insulated systems, while unifying the largest possible amount of rubber parts, accessories, and hardware solutions to reduce complexity and raise the quality of implementation in the workshops.
Our vision is for Mazoon Aluminum to be a reference for high-quality aluminum systems through an integrated system that includes design, research and development, testing, and close partnership with architects, workshops, and homeowners.
Three key milestones explain Mazoon's transition from implementation expertise to proprietary systems development and ongoing research.
Mazoon Aluminum was launched as an Omani project focused on providing window and door solutions of the highest quality standards, with a deep understanding of the nature of residential and commercial projects in the local market.
The company moved to design its own window and door systems, including thermally insulated systems, adopting stricter design standards and greater emphasis on ease of manufacture and documentation.
We continue to develop new sliding and casement systems, standardize accessories, build advanced testing platforms, and produce bilingual technical documentation to ensure consistent quality and easier adoption in workshops.
In 2016, an investment institution was established and began its activity under the Apex Windows brand. The focus at this stage was on manufacturing and installing high quality uPVC and aluminum windows and doors, setting early standards in mastery and reliable implementation and earning customer trust in the Omani market.
By 2018, the scope of work expanded to include glass facades (Curtain Walls) and advanced aluminum solutions. This phase represented a technical and operational base for later owned systems, strengthened the supplier network, and built in-house expertise in assembly and systems integration.
The year 2021 was a turning point with the official launch of the first wholly owned system: the Mazoon 45 casement system, which combined ease of manufacturing, strong performance and a modern appearance, based on years of work experience.
In the same year, the transition from the Apex Windows brand to Mazoon Aluminum took place, emphasizing the new direction of innovation and leadership in the regional market.
In 2023, Mazoon Aluminum worked to improve its systems to achieve better performance in water drainage and sealing against water and air, in addition to increasing the efficiency of sound and thermal insulation. These developments were compatible with the requirements of modern architecture, and also contributed to facilitating manufacturing and documentation processes for partners and workshops.
The year 2024 witnessed the launch of the Mazoon 46 as an upgraded version of the Mazoon 45 with two insulation chambers for higher performance, while maintaining the same assembly tools, rubber parts, and hardware to facilitate workshop work.
In 2024, Mazoon 56 Thermal Break was introduced to enhance energy efficiency through improved thermal profiles and weather sealing schemes, making it a suitable choice for high-end residential and advanced commercial projects.
Entering 2025, the company continues its R&D journey: new sliding and casement systems, greater standardization of accessories, and advanced test platforms. The roadmap also includes expanding color finish options, enhanced hardware integration, and bilingual (Arabic/English) technical documentation to ensure continued leadership in innovation, quality and sustainability.
In 2026, Mazoon Aluminum launched its internal resource management system as part of its effort to integrate operations into a unified platform that reflects a complete commercial experience, from the customer's first request through manufacturing and execution. The system was developed inside Mazoon Aluminum to connect sales, inventory, purchasing, and accounting. Its key feature is the Designer system, which supports window and door design, converts dimensions into manufacturing data, and prepares cutting lists and material requirements to improve accuracy, reduce waste, and accelerate the workflow.
